Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar technologies our websites use, and how you can control them.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how T2MA Labs LLC ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on fipsapp.com and app.fipsapp.com. For how we handle personal data in general, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage work in a similar way but are not sent to our servers with every request. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.
2. The categories we use
Our cookie banner groups cookies into three categories: Necessary, Analytics and Marketing.
Necessary (always on)
These are needed for the sites to work and stay secure, so they do not need your consent.
- cookie-consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choices.
- fips-web-theme and preferredLanguage (local storage): remember your light or dark theme and your language on fipsapp.com.
- Sign-in and settings on app.fipsapp.com (local storage): keep you signed in and remember your preferences in the web app.
- Support chat (session storage): keeps your open conversation during your visit.
- Cloudflare security cookies, such as
__cf_bmandcf_clearance: set by Cloudflare to detect bots and protect the sites, including when the support chat checks that you are human (Turnstile).
Analytics
These help us understand how fipsapp.com is used so that we can improve it.
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_<ID>): counts visits and page views and shows how visitors move through the site. These cookies last up to 2 years. Google Analytics runs with Google Consent Mode. While analytics is off, it does not set or read cookies, but Google may still receive limited cookieless signals, such as that a page was viewed. - Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.
Marketing
We do not use advertising networks, advertising cookies or remarketing today. The Marketing switch is in the banner so that you can decide in advance. If you turn it on, Google tags on the site are allowed to use advertising storage, but no ads are shown. If we add marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy, and they will only run with your consent where the law requires it.
3. Defaults by region
If you visit from the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Turkey or Brazil, Analytics and Marketing stay off until you turn them on. Everywhere else, Analytics is on by default and Marketing is off, and you can turn Analytics off at any time.
4. How to change your choice
Use the Settings button in the cookie banner to choose categories. The banner is shown until you make a choice. To see it again later, clear this site's data in your browser and reload the page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the site may stop working.
5. Our apps
The Fips mobile app does not use cookies. It stores your settings on your device and uses product analytics (PostHog) and crash reporting (Sentry), as described in our Privacy Policy. You can switch off usage analytics in the app's Settings.
6. Changes and contact
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change. If you have questions, email [email protected].
