Risk Disclosure and Disclaimer
Trading is risky and Fips does not give financial advice. Please read this before using Fips.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Fips is not financial advice, and Fips is not a broker.
This disclosure is part of the Terms of Service between you and T2MA Labs LLC ("we", "us"), the provider of Fips. Please read it before using Fips.
1. Trading carries a high risk of loss
Trading forex, CFDs, cryptocurrencies, futures, stocks and other leveraged or volatile instruments carries a high risk of loss. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and with some instruments and brokers you can lose more than you deposited. Only trade with money you can afford to lose. Past performance, including your own results in Fips and the results of backtests, does not guarantee future results.
2. Fips is a tool, not advice
Fips provides a trading journal, calculators, an economic calendar, backtesting and analytics. Nothing in Fips, including calculations, statistics, calendar data, alerts, AI-generated content, support answers, articles or emails, is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any instrument. We do not know your financial situation or goals. Consider getting advice from a licensed professional before making investment decisions.
3. Fips is not a broker
We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser or any other regulated financial firm. Fips never places, changes or closes orders, never holds your funds and cannot move money. If you connect a trading account, we use read-only access to read balances and trade history.
4. Data and calculations can be wrong
Market prices, economic calendar events, broker data and calculation results come from third parties or from what you enter, and they can be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Lot size, pip value, margin, risk and prop-firm calculations depend on contract specifications that differ between brokers and change over time. Always check results against your broker's platform before placing a trade.
5. Backtesting and analytics have limits
Backtests use historical data and simplifying assumptions, for example about spreads, slippage, commissions and execution. Real results will differ. Analytics describe what has happened; they do not predict what will happen.
6. Prop firm rules
If you use Fips to track a prop-firm challenge, the firm's own rules and figures are the ones that count. Our tracking may differ from the firm's.
7. Your responsibility
You alone decide whether, what and when to trade. You are responsible for the results and for following the laws and tax rules that apply to you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses that result from your use of Fips, as set out in the Terms of Service.
